About Craig
Craig is the Managing Director and founder of Celium Recruitment, a specialist in M&E recruitment. Celium was created in 2022 as a groundbreaking venture that embraces cutting-edge technology, leverages powerful social media platforms, and boasts an extraordinary network of connections established since 2013.
His recruitment journey has always revolved around specializing in Mechanical & Electrical recruitment. Starting as a trainee at a prominent FTSE 250 company, Craig quickly transformed a cold desk into the company's busiest and most profitable M&E division within just six months. He supported fellow M&E consultants and expertly account managed numerous Mechanical & Electrical contractors nationwide, including numerous SMEs.
Though Craig enjoyed working for the world's largest recruitment company at the time, he recognized the potential for improvement. Driven by his vision for smoother payroll processes, more efficient social media utilisation, and enhanced national client account management, he founded Esca.
From its Colchester office, Esca Recruitment evolved into a formidable brand renowned both locally and nationally. Craig's invaluable contribution enabled the business to achieve remarkable turnovers and play a prominent role in some of the UK's biggest construction projects.
Drawing from his wealth of experience in the industry, Craig established Celium with a strong focus on systematization and seamless processes, laying the foundation for sustainable growth while maintaining an unwavering commitment to compliance. The systems put in place have allowed the business to recruit and train people with real industry experience, something which has proven to be invaluable.
Craig is involved in construction outside of recruitment and is actually a qualified bricklayer. He is a proud father, away from work he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
